Flower ribbon Hair Accessories

So, I have been loving the trend of having all kinds of cute headbands, hair pins, etc. Getting creative with hair accessories is fun and easy and you have endless possibilities! Lol, anyway, I have one flower hair pin in black and I really wanted another color. I had some pink ribbon lying around so i googled how to make a flower out of ribbon and this video popped up! it's so helpful and it was so easy to make! I will definitely make more of these! lol

e.l.f. cosmetics

So, I am definitely what people would call a girly-girl which means I love makeup and all that good stuff. Unfortunately, however, makeup is expensive (especially my favorite: MAC). But there is hope!!! At the new Target in Esplanade Mall in Kenner my friend showed me this new line of makeup that sells almost everything for ONE DOLLAR (some of it is $3-$6 but that's still cheaper than everywhere else!)! The line is called eyes lips and face- abbreviated e.l.f. The store didn't have everything I was looking for- especially since most of it was sold out- so I checked out the website:

They have SO much great stuff! And it all seems to be good quality. They're always giving away free stuff or HUGE discounts. I have so much I want to buy from them already (just need the money to do it LOL)! I've read the reviews and it is almost ALL positive! I can't wait to try it!

REVIEW: SEPHORA by OPI Nail Colour: Nail Polish

As another part of my Sephora shipment I got a full-size nail polish called "Go With The Flow-er" and it is AMAZING!! I think this is my new favorite nail polish. I have been loving the look of the glittery nail polishes so I was so excited when I saw this one!

When I first looked at the bottle it didn't look like it was going to show the glitter as much as I hoped. But, once I put it on it was perfect! My favorite color is pink and this is just...perfect (like i said)! haha I don't even know how else to describe it. I did expect the glitter to be a little bigger but I still absolutely love it. It needs about 2 coats to be even but it is amazing... It's great for spring and summer but I'm gonna rock it for fall, too, anyway.

I think next I'm going to try the "What's Your Poison?" color. It's a cranberry red with bigger glitter- this one will definitely be great for fall and winter. :)

Ok, I am obsessed!!! I just got my new order in from Sephora- and this was one of the things I ordered... I LOVE IT! It's so cute!

The colors included are:

1. Leotard Optional

This is a neutral nude-ish color. It's a little darker than I expected- a little more brown. But I still love it! It is such a cute neutral color. Probably doesn't need more than one coat

2. The Way Tutu His Heart

SO cute! It's a light light pink- you have to use 2 or 3 coats to make it even but it's adorable

3. Who's Spinning Tonight?

LOVE IT! It's a dark purple (perfect for my LSU game days :D ) and it looks awesome!! Also, probably doesn't need more than one coat. It's perfect :)

4. Break a Leg-Warmer!

This, and Leotard Optional, is why I ordered this mini collection. I love this color! It's a nice gray color! Great for fall! It's a darker gray but it's perfect. One coat should do for this one too.

This mini collection is perfect for me. I love nail polish and I got 4 for the price of 2 in this collection. I don't know about you but my nail polish tends to last me a long time so the fact that these are smaller than normal makes no difference to me. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's so cute and perfect for spring and fall! :)

4 must-have Baby products that work for grown-ups too!

Lol this may be crazy but it's true.. Some baby products work really well for everyday grown-up things, too.

1. This may sounds really weird, and maybe I shouldn't even admit it, but one of THE MOST USEFUL things is the one and only boudreaux's butt paste (yes, butt paste). If you're like me and you wear a skirt or a dress or shorts that are too short and it's a hot humid day- u chafe(sp?) and it hurts. I have found that boudreaux's gets rid of the chafing with no problem! I just put it on at night before bed and the next day it's usually gone. Boudreaux's also works for stubborn razor burn- before and after you get it! Just put it on at night after you shave and it will prevent it. Or, if you're too late and you already have it just put it on before bed and it will be significantly better if not gone the next day! AND since it's used for diaper rashes it can work on sensitive skin with no worries.. Boudreaux's is a life saver :)

2.Baby powder... This one is probably obvious. It's an age-old trick that many people use and have used for a while. When your hair is greasier than normal between washes putting some baby powder in your hair usually does the trick! It has never failed me. I've tried to use "dry shampoo" products instead but I think baby powder works best.

3.johnson's baby shampoo... This is a go-to product for me. It works great for taking off eye makeup-even waterproof mascara- and it won't burn your eyes! It's also good for people with allergies. I found that during the times that my allergies are really crazy it has helped to wash my eyes with baby shampoo every night to get the dust or whatever off and my eyes are way less irritated.

4.baby lotion... This one shouldn't be too surprising either. I love the smell of baby lotion- nice and fresh- and the best part is that of you're like me and you have SUPER sensitive skin this lotion works really well and won't irritate you. You can even use it directly after shaving without getting irritation. I tell you, it's great.

Baby products are great. Their inexpensive and work on all skin types for lots of different problems.. You should check it out :)
